To facilitate ethnic minorities in Hong Kong to understand the Greater Bay Area and seek job opportunities, M.E.L.T. Centre had organised the Content Creator Experience GBA Tour 2024 from 7th to 11th August. The group went to Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Zhuhai to various scenic spots in Zhongshan, including Shenzhen Zhimei Huizhi Cultural Industrial Park, Cantonese Opera Art Museum, Yongqing Fang, Guangzhou Zoo, Guangzhou Sunac Hot Snow Miracle and Zhuhai Chimelong International Ocean Resort, etc.
On the first day of the trip, the group visited Shenzhen Zhimei Huizhi Cultural Industrial Park. In addition to many unique shops such as boutiques, snack bars, fashion and beverage shops, the park also provides art product displays, leisure bars and staircase book bars for group members to take photos and create short videos. As a result, the group members immediately mastered the live streaming e-commerce industry, trendy business shooting and other innovative business models.
On the second day, our group went to the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Art Museum, which has a garden, exhibition hall, stage, theater and other heritage display areas. The garden scenic area surrounds the Wansha Lake in the center, scattered with six groups of courtyard spaces, and the water stage Guangfu Terrace will hold Cantonese opera performances, dynamically displaying the artistic characteristics of Cantonese opera. The exhibition hall is equipped with the exhibition "Southern Red Beans, Cantonese Rhyme", which systematically displays the development process, artistic characteristics, organization and important influence of Cantonese opera at home and abroad. The thematic exhibition hall regularly hosts a variety of special exhibitions related to the art of Cantonese opera, and the group members can also simulate the effects of wearing different Cantonese opera costumes through a special image generator, which deepens their understanding of the art of Cantonese opera and increases the content of the group members' video creation.
After that, our group went to Yongqing Lane in Liwan District, which is an inner street creative park and the ancestral home of the late martial arts superstar Bruce Lee's father. After lunch, the group went to visit the Guangzhou Zoo, which currently raises and exhibits nearly 5,000 animals of more than 400 species at China and abroad. Ethnic minorities can see a variety of exotic animals such as chimpanzees, giraffes, African elephants, hippos, rhinoceros, and black swans, which also includes rare animals that are unique to China, such as giant pandas, golden monkeys, South China tigers, elk, Eld's Deer and Black-necked cranes, etc. It amazed the group members.
On the third day, our group went to Guangzhou Sunac Hot Snow Miracle (Guangzhou Sunac Snow World) to play. The ski resort is mainly divided into two areas: the ski area and the snow entertainment area. This is the second largest indoor ski resort in the world. The ski area has 5 pistes of varying levels of difficulty, suitable for all levels of skiing. The snow recreation area is divided into 7 sections, including snow tubing, risk trails, ice bumper cars, ice bikes, glacier jumps, flower snow circles and colorful ice sculptures. The group enjoyed playing in the snow indoors and experiencing various ice sculpture slides. After lunch, we watched the Sunac Circus. Within an hour, the group members can experience motorcycle acrobatics, trapeze performances, magic tricks and various circus performances.
On the fourth day, our group went to Zhuhai Chimelong International Ocean Resort, where the group first visited Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, the world's largest marine theme park with a variety of marine life displays and interactive experiences, not only has the world's largest 5D cinema but also set 5 Guinness World Records. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has the world's largest whale shark aquarium, where you can see this giant sea creature up close. The huge Aquarium and whale shark display impressed the group. The park also features rapids, a variety of advanced rides and roller coasters, bringing new experiences and more media creation themes to the group.
On the last day of the trip, we went to visit the memorial hall of Sun Yat-sen's former residence. The memorial hall uses the houses adjacent to the former residence of Sun Yat-sen to restore and imitate some of the houses in Cuiheng Village in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, reproduces the historical environment of Sun Yat-sen's early growth period in three dimensions. The exterior structure is decorated in the style of Western classical architecture, the internal structure and furnishings belong to the traditional form of local houses, the main hall is equipped with exquisite gold-pasted god building, using traditional Chinese sour branch furniture. The members of the group learned more about the history of Sun Yat-sen at that time and broadened their knowledge. After completing the visit, our group took a coach back to Shenzhen, go through the boarder and return to Hong Kong.
