To facilitate ethnic minorities in Hong Kong to understand the Greater Bay Area and seek job opportunities, M.E.L.T. Centre had organised the Content Creator Experience GBA Tour 2025 from 21st to 23rd June. The group went to some various scenic spots in Shenzhen and Dongguan including Shenzhen DJI Experience Center, Window of the World, Nanshe Ming and Qing Ancient Village, Dongguan Exhibition Center, OCT – LOFT and Shenzhen Safari Park.
On the first day of the trip, we visited Window of the World – a theme park which located in Shenzhen. This park shows different famous landmarks from all over the world in miniature landscapes, including the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramids, the Taj Mahal and Statue of Liberty, etc. Traditional performances of various countries are also held in the park; we are so lucky to witness a great acrobatics performance on that day. After having lunch, we went to Shenzhen DJI Experience Center. In addition to many different drone models and robots, this center also introduces the DJI-Robomaster Display area and drone exhibition hall. They also arrange an aerial group photo taking, drone flight and mecha master experience. As a result, our group members immediately experience the highly - advance drone controlling process and enjoying the play on mecha master with tablets. All of us felt amazed by the new technology.

On the second day, our group went to Nanshe Ming and Qing Ancient Village in Dongguan. It is a well-preserved historical village located in Guangdong, showcases traditional Lingnan (Southern Chinese) architecture and culture from the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing (1644–1912) dynasties. The village features over 200 ancient buildings, including Xie’s Ancestral Hall, temples, residences, and gates, with intricate carvings and traditional designs. The village is surrounded by a moat and features old banyan trees, stone bridges, and traditional alleyways. Most of us like to take pictures and create videos for this beautiful view. Some buildings have been converted into small museums displaying folk artifacts, calligraphy, and historical relics. Our member also discovered a shop which sell self – made Sachet with herbs. After that, our group went to Dongguan Exhibition Center and Keyuan Museum. They showed the historical and economic development in Dongguan.

On the third day, the group went to visit the Shenzhen Safari Park, which currently raises and exhibits over 300 animals abroad such as giraffes, elephants, Tigers, lions, which also includes rare animals that are unique to China, such as giant pandas, etc. The park amazed the group members by giving opportunities to feed animals and participate in educational programs and having Family-Friendly Activities like Play areas, shows, and themed attractions suitable for all ages. Last but not least, we went to OCT-LOFT which is originally an industrial area and it has been transformed into a vibrant hub for art, design, and innovation. It contains some trendy Cafés and Restaurants, different unique boutiques selling handmade crafts, fashion, and design goods. It is also a co-working space and studios that attract artists, designers, and entrepreneurs. All our members are attracted by its numerous galleries showcasing contemporary art from local and international artists.

After completing the visit, our group took a coach back to Shenzhen, go through the boarder and return to Hong Kong. They all feel enjoy about this trip and upload many interesting photos and videos into their social media accounts.
