Inclusive Cultural Activities
Guided Tours for Local Attractions
Our local guided tours are a great way for members of ethnic minorities to experience and engage with the local community first-hand, and gain a deeper understanding of everyday life and the historical roots of Hong Kong. These activities are also wonderful opportunities for parents and children of ethnic minority families to bond with one another.
Promoting Cultural Inclusivity in Schools
By holding talks, exhibitions and other events, we strive to bring local and ethnic minority youths together and promote deeper understanding and greater inclusivity among them, with the aim of building a harmonious and diversified community.
Carnivals for Ethnic Minorities
We organise ethnic cultural festivals based on Southeast Asian countries where Hong Kongers can learn more about the country, religion and culture of ethnic minorities through performances and carnival stalls. Through these events, we promote the value of cultural diversity and inclusivity.
Ethnic Minority Performance Troupes
We select ambassadors and put together performance troupes from ethnic minorities who showcase their impressive talents in carnivals or major events outside this programme, as an effective way of engaging with and reaching out to more local Chinese.
